Boric Anhydride

The main application


Used to prepare elemental boron and fine boron compounds. It can also be combined with a variety of oxides to make boron glass, optical glass, heat-resistant glass, instrument glass and glass fiber, light protection materials with characteristic colors. It can also be used as a fire retardant additive and desiccant for paint. Segmentation has the following uses:

(1) Used as a co-solvent in the decomposition of silicate;

(2) Dopants in semiconductor materials;

(3) Heat-resistant glassware and paint refractory additives;

(4) The main raw material for preparing elemental boron and various borides;

(5) Used in the production of alloy steel in the metallurgical industry and the preparation of high-energy materials;

(6) Raw materials of enamel;

(7) Used as raw material for chemical heat treatment boron dissolving agent in machinery industry;

(8) Catalyst for organic synthesis;

(9) High temperature is used as an additive for lubricants.
